Praise for the risen God-Man!
Praise Christ for submitting to the will of His Father, for going willingly to the cross knowing fully what He would suffer there. Praise Christ for enduring the wrath of His Holy Father in my place. Praise Christ for taking my sin upon Himself and for dying that I might live to praise His name! Praise Christ for His power to raise Himself up from the grave and to conquer the power of death! Praise Christ for speaking light into my heart that I might savingly believe in Him. Praise Christ for opening my eyes to read His Word and to see His majesty in all of creation. Praise Christ for ascending into heaven and sitting down triumphant at the right hand of God the Father! Praise Christ for sending the Holy Spirit to guide me into all truth! Praise Christ for sending the Holy Spirit to convict my heart of sin and to draw me unto the Father. Praise Christ for His perfection as my great High Priest, who understands by virtue of His humanity all my struggles and temptations, and is yet sinless by virtue of His God-ness! Praise Christ for His sovereign control over all things, including the devil! Praise Christ for His goodness, mercy and kindness to filth such as me. Praise Christ that I may celebrate Him, serve Him, rejoice over Him, and look forward to that day when I'll leave this world so full of evil and sadness to go home to Him and see Him in all His glory. Praise Christ for that day when I'll fall on my face as though dead in His presence.
