Praise the Holy Spirit for showing me the darkness of my sin as compared with the brightness of the purity of Christ!
I must praise and thank the Holy Spirit for the conviction in my heart and also thank God for our little group of solid believers who come together each Wednesday to confess our sins to one another. Thank God that He shows me my sin. I am cleansed as God grants repentance, a weight is lifted as I confess my sin before my brothers and sisters. I am encouraged when I hear another person confess the same sin with which I struggle. I am edified when I hear of victory granted to another by the power of the Holy Spirit and my faith is built. I am humbled as I go to the Lord in prayer for others rather than always for myself.
Praise God that He opens my mouth that I may praise His name! May He be glorified in granting me repentance and cleansing my heart.
